After Effects Preset

Ouroboros comes from Sander Van Dijk and is free. The developer only asks for a small donation if you like the preset. It contains no script, but uses expressions. The preset gives the user a new shape layer with a stroke and some effects; after that, this new shape layer only needs to be connected to another original shape layer, and according to Van Dijk it adopts the properties of the new one. Then simply copy "Stroke Ouroboros 1" into "Contents, group1", and multiple strokes can be created on the same shape path.
