The ZBrush Summit is a free three-day event (August 8 – 10) in L.A. that will be streamed live worldwide. In addition to the demo and announcement of the latest verison of our favourite modeller, there are presentations by Adidas/Nike (that is, the subject of commercials), film with Disney and Legacy Effects, 3D printing from 3D Systems/Gentle Giant through to toy construction at Hasbro. Anyone now thinking that games are getting short shrift: no, Ubisoft and RedStorm Entertainment will make sure of that, talking about games that are allegedly not even out yet.
