The toad lived in the driveway of Blender artist "arenyart" for almost a year until his wife unfortunately stepped on the animal there. He built the 3D model from pictures the artist took of the slimy resident with his iPhone.
The detailed model was created entirely with Blender: he modelled the base mesh with Skinmod and completed the sculpting, painting and render setup in Cycles. Remarkable: according to his own statement, he needed only one sleepless night for the digital rebirth of the driveway toad.
