The male or female CG model should be designed as realistically and in as much detail as possible with regard to anatomy, human proportions and forms. So take another close look at Leonardo da Vinci’s anatomy notes from the Renaissance or consult your family doctor for anatomy lessons, and off you go.

The deadline for the competition is November 17. Not only individuals but also groups can take part. The condition is that the CG work is original and not obviously copied from other images.

Prizes include Substance Indie Packs from Allegorithmic, a Toolbag 2.0 licence from Marmoset and a three-month subscription to Digital Tutors.

All further information about CGTrader’s Human Challenge can be found here.

And the work could pay off again next year, because you can submit the still to the animago AWARD 2015. The image "Smoked" by GV Prashanth, which you can see at the top right of the Human Challenge website, is among this year’s nominees in the "Best Still" category.
