In the new Disney/Pixar film, Pete Docter deals with emotions. He gives them an appearance and a place to live – namely, the head of a little girl.
The plot of the film, which will open in Germany on October 1 next year, revolves around the life of Riley Anderson. Her father takes a new job in San Francisco, Riley comes along, and the five little emotion figures – Joy, Anger, Disgust, Fear and Sadness – guide her from then on so that she can cope with the new situation.
The idea for this story came from Pete Docter, who is directing together with storyboard artist Ronnie del Carmen ("Ratatouille", "Brave", "Monsters University"). Jonas Rivera ("Up", "Toy Story 2", "Cars", "Monsters, Inc.") acts as producer.
