Anyone who wants to sit on Forrest Gump’s legendary chocolate bench has to travel to Savannah, Georgia. The annual film festival, which took place for the 17th time this year, is also worth a visit. The festival is presented by the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). We presented the university, whose animation institute is a former coffin factory, in more detail in DP issue 05/14 ("Graduation with Bottomless Goat").
55 films were nominated in the various categories; 13 received an award.
