During the all-day programme, prospective students have the opportunity to get to know the various departments of the Filmakademie and obtain information about the different degree programmes and study specialisations. The Institute of Animation, Visual Effects and Digital Postproduction at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg will also present its Animation and Interactive Media study focuses as part of the information day.

During the study day, pupils will receive information about the application procedure and admission requirements and can also gain a first insight into the institute’s student projects. The study day begins in the morning at 9 am in the Albrecht Ade Studio on the Filmakademie campus (Akademiehof 10, 71638 Ludwigsburg).

The detailed programme for the study day can be found on the Animation Institute website and the Filmakademie. Participation is free of charge.

Registration is requested at: studientag@filmakademie.de

In the upcoming DP anniversary issue, Prof. Thomas Haegele will reveal more about the Animation Institute in an interview. The 100th DP issue appears on December 5.
