"Zootopia" will be about a fast-talking fox who wants to make it big. When he is accused of a crime he did not commit, he flees, relentlessly pursued by Lieutenant Judy Hopps. When both become caught up in a conspiracy, they have no choice but to act as a team. Director Byron Howard, who previously also made "Tangled", and writer Jared Bush have already released concept art for the film.
"Moana", by contrast, is about the land of Oceania, 2,000 years before our present day. Moana is the film’s title heroine, who sets sail to find an island. During her search she meets the demigod Maui; together they encounter sea monsters and much more. The film is intended to have a very painterly animation style, similar to that of "Paperman". So far Disney has released only initial artwork for the project.
