Support for working with stereoscopic cameras has been added, making images with spherical lenses or stereoscopic fisheye lenses possible, useful for working with Oculus Rift, for example.

Another main feature is the new glass shader, which is intended to improve the rendering of glass effects considerably. The new shader works similarly to the already available water shader, but contains settings and features intended specifically for glass.

As minor improvements, Planetside cites the ability to control Cloud Layer V2 shaders via "Taper top and base" parameters. New Function nodes are also included. The handling of Geog data (GIS) has also been improved.

Further information can be found on the manufacturer’s website. The update can be installed free of charge through the software.
