The first submission deadline, during which documents could still also be submitted in the conventional way, has passed since January 20. At the next submission date, from March 2 to 17, 2015, applications can only be sent online.

It applies to production funding for cinema films, television films, and emerging-talent films, distribution and sales, as well as project development and screenplay funding. The new online portal is intended to optimise the process both for applicants and for processing and administration. In order to standardise the application process nationwide as well, the portal was designed with a structure and handling analogous to the FFA.
The digital application data must be fully uploaded by 6 p.m. on the last day of the respective submission deadline. After that, access is blocked and the data is made available to the members of the funding committee.
