HitFilm Express may be the slimmed-down variant, but it supposedly contains all the editing functions of the Pro version.
However: Editing video material in 4K resolution remains reserved for the professional software, and Express’s effects section is limited. It does include more than 100 individual effects, but no more professional features such as the particle engine, import of 3D models, the Mocha motion tracker or Open FX support. Plug-ins for third-party software are also missing. All these functions can, however, be purchased individually if required.
HitFilm Exoress is available for PC and Mac. Until now, the package regularly cost 150 dollars. Now it’s free.
