In “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” by Polish game developer CD Projekt RED, Geralt of Rivia does not hunt wild game, but monsters. Numerous examples of these 3D creatures modeled with ZBrush can be seen on the ZBrushCentral website; senior member “Klicek” created them.

Furthermore, Comingsoon.net announced that The Sean Daniel Company, which has already produced films such as “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor,” “The Expanse” and the upcoming “Ben Hur” remake, wants to make a film adaptation of “The Witcher.” Platige Image is to co-produce it; Tomasz Bagiński of Platige, who has already directed the cinematics for the game series, is to direct. The film is intended to introduce the character Geralt of Rivia and form the starting point for a film or TV series. The theatrical release is planned for 2017.
