What Is New:
OpenFX plug-in support is no longer limited to 8 bit. After a reinstall, all OpenCL components also run under Windows 10. Gaussian Noise now also works together with the rotation parameters when Intel GPU acceleration is enabled.
The speed with which Sony is developing Catalyst suggests that the program may soon be intended to replace Vegas Video completely in the product range. The interface looks significantly more modern, tidier and more professional. Catalyst Edit also runs on Mac. The complete Edit and Prepare package costs 399 USD; the “Browse” software is free. Sony does not yet offer a subscription model.
