Nikon’s A900 comes with a 20-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 35x optical zoom, a three-inch display and 4K film recording at up to 30 fps. All that for a slim 350 US dollars. The B700, with the same sensor but 60x optical zoom and higher resolution, costs 500 US dollars. The entry-level B500 is available for just 300 US dollars, with a 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor, 40x dynamic zoom and likewise a three-inch display, but only AA batteries as its power source. All three cameras allow Wi-Fi and NFC connections for conveniently transferring images to a tablet.
According to the manufacturer, sales will begin in late spring 2016.
