In the magazine, we have already reported on the first generation of the HP Z1 G3 all-in-one workstation. Now HP is bringing the new generation with improved features:
- An anti-glare UHD/4K display with a screen diagonal of 23.6 inches (59.9 cm)
- Intel Xeon quad-core processorsand 64 GB ECC memory
- Graphics cards from NVIDIA Quadro
- Dual PCIe HP Z Turbo Drives for faster start-up and reduced response times when working with large files
- Storage capacity can be increased even further by integrating two additional 2.5-inch SATA SSDs or HDDs
- Dual Thunderbolt 3 port with USB 3.1, a USB charging port, a memory-card reader and DisplayPort
HP RGS Mac Receiver expands integration for HP workstations:
HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS) allows Mac users to switch quickly between Mac OS apps and Windows or Linux applications.
The HP Z1 G3 is expected to be available from May at an entry-level price starting at €1,600. HP Remote Graphics Software is now available as a free download for existing HP Z workstation customers for HP Z desktops and mobile HP ZBook workstations.
