Various applications, such as Max and Maya, communicate with each other and exchange data via the Nyx framework  – Voltron is thus intended to provide a framework for a smooth workflow between 3ds Max and After Effects (AE).

The features:

  • Keeps animation curves intact through Bezier Handels and creates a key only when absolutely necessary.
  • In Interactive Mode, individual items and the timeline are synchronised in real time.
  • Can determine different items in different comps in the AE project – for full control over what belongs where.
  • Direct link to Max Controllers and to AE properties
  • Max and AE project files open without problems on systems where Voltron is not installed, without leaving traces in AE.

The free version of NyxVoltron is available right here as a download from Dropbox. Just give it a try, right?
