More Animation with Krita!

Version 3.0 of the open-source tool Krita is an update packed with new features: among other things, the frame-by-frame animation function has been improved.

For proper frame-by-frame animations, Krita provides animatable raster layers, all kinds of playback speed and onion skinning for all previously available painting functions. In addition, version 3 can now import and export image sequences, there are new dockers such as Timeline or Animation, and .csv files can be imported or exported, for example for further processing with TVPaint.

You can find the complete, extensive feature list, including optimisations to the user interface, new filters and shortcuts, here!

Many of the new functions were implemented thanks to the Kickstarter campaign. The support campaign is still running here. Download Krita here for Windows, Mac OSX, Linux or as source code.
