With the latest Creative Cloud Video updates, Adobe cut the Dynamic Link connection to Speedgrade and changed the file format slightly. This is why new Premiere projects can no longer be opened in Speedgrade.
PrProBCC is available in two versions – as a command-line tool or with a graphical interface – for a maximum of 9 euros. So anyone who wants to grade current Premiere projects with Speedgrade will find an inexpensive transitional solution this way. Anyone who does not want to grade directly in Premiere may have to look for alternatives in the medium term.
