A total of nine scholarships are being offered in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland for the course start in March 2017. Applications with a letter of motivation and work samples are possible until December 31, 2016, at www.sae.edu/40jahre.
Anyone selected for a scholarship saves half of the course fees as a student—regardless of which subject area and campus they choose. With Audio Engineering, Music Business, Game Art & 3D Animation, Games Programming, Visual FX & 3D Animation, Digital Film Production, Cross Media Production, and Webdesign & Development, the selection is large.
Requirements
To apply for a scholarship, a Mittlere Reife qualification or a higher qualification is required; applicants must have reached the age of 18 or do so by March 2017 and hold EU or Swiss citizenship.
The only document applicants have to submit is a letter of motivation that excites—whether through wit, creativity, or razor-sharp argumentation. Naturally, SAE also wants to take a look at previous work, so the letter of motivation should also link to the applicant’s own projects, references, or work samples (website, Soundcloud, youtube, etc.).
Studying Abroad
For students who are interested in a scholarship outside the DACH region,
there is the possibility of applying to international locations of the SAE
Institute. Further information about the SAE Institute’s international
scholarship awards at 40scholarships40years.sae.edu.
