Learn something new in January: webinars are coming up—you can register on the Adobe Connect platform. This means you can take part free of charge without traveling even a single meter. Afterwards, there is always an opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with other users.
Maya for AAA games
On January 13 (Friday), between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm, Roland Reyer, Maya Technical Expert at Autodesk, will present the new development tools. These are already being used by a wide variety of triple-A game studios, and in the webinar you will see how Maya fits into the games pipeline as a foundation. Topics of the webinar will be performance and efficient asset management as well as the 3D character-creation toolset and “deep integration” into the pipeline. After the webinar, there will of course be time for an extensive Q&A session.
The webinar is hosted by Roland Reyer, who began as an application engineer at Wavefront Technologies GmbH in 1992—and now has 20 years of experience with Maya, its development, and its possibilities.
