In their opening speeches on the 2,000-square-meter campus, Peter Duhr, director of SAE Institute Berlin, and Chris Müller, managing director of SAE Institute DACH, discussed the three-year planning phase and the successful move with 300 students while classes were in operation. They also emphasized the importance of a culturally open and modern educational institution in a society shaped by digital progress. Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, as the location of many media companies, was made for this.
Facilities on the campus grounds
During the tour of the campus, visitors received exclusive insights into the media school’s recording studios, film suites, and green-screen studio. At workstations, students also presented a selection of current projects from the fields of audio, film, and games. A subsequent get-together with live music and drinks rounded off the evening.
Studying in Berlin
SAE Institute opened in Berlin-Reinickendorf as its second branch in Germany back in 1988. Since September 2016, around 300 students have been taught in the fields of games, animation, audio, film, music business, cross media, and web at the new campus on Cuvrystraße. All courses in Berlin are offered in German and English.
