StoryboardPro is software from Toonboom for creating storyboards and animatics. Anyone interested in such tools should look at the new features in version 5.5.
What Comes with 5.5?
- Guides and vanishing points have been added in the new version. They make it easier to find the correct angle for your lines when drawing in perspective. The aids adapt your drawing to the vanishing points.
- Flip function is another new feature. This allows your drawn storyboard to be mirrored automatically via a hotkey.
- Automatic masks also enable characters or objects to be filled with colour more quickly.
- Blurrer effects, such as radial blur, can now also be used in the tool.
- Timeline markers can be set on the timeline in version 5.5.

Costs
StoryboardPro can be purchased for €41/month if you take out an annual subscription. A permanent licence, on the other hand, is available for €1,100. You can also test the tool for 21 days.
