So, time to start planning the FMX 2017 programme! The schedule of talks from May 2 to 5 is online.

Here is the programme overview for FMX – International Conference on Animation, Effects, VR, Games and Transmedia 2017, which takes place under the motto “Beyond the Screen.”

In the feature-film field, there are some highlights to look forward to: ILM and Rodeo FX will report on the effects of the new science-fiction film “Valerian,” Animal Logic and Weta Digital explain how the VFX for “Guradians of the Galaxy 2” were created, Pixar speaks about “Cars 3,” Disney about “Vaiana” and Framestore about “Fantastic Beasts.” TV series include Pixomondo with “The Walking Dead” and One of Us with “The Crown,” among others.

VFX legend John Knoll will give two talks: on the topic of virtual production and on the effects of “Star Wars: Rogue One.” The programme also includes numerous talks on the focuses “Automotive Industries Meet Realtime” and “VR & Research.”
