The Bforartists fork has a completely different philosophy of use from Blender, away from hotkey- and speed-centered use toward an intuitive user interface.

Bforartists 0.9.2 Features

Version 0.9.2 cleans up the menus and ties up several loose ends. Tools for the Toolbar Editor and Tool Shelf have also been added, along with more than 50 new icons. The Toolbar Type View is gone; the developers replaced it with Toolbar Type Mesh. They also made important bug fixes and added previously missing features: “Move and Rotate” in the viewport was changed so that it now works consistently with the rest of the editor. In addition, the keymap was adapted to eliminate several conflicts and inconsistencies.
