Talk Videos from the First CityEngine User Meeting

This year, the “European CityEngine User Meeting” organized by vrbn took place in Copenhagen for the first time. The six videos of talks from the one-day event provide a comprehensive overview of working with the procedural modeling engine.

In the first video, Kenneth Lindhardt of GeoInfo explains what the CityEngine workflow for constructing procedural bridges looks like.

In the second talk, Flora Roumpani (UCL) showed the possibilities CityEngine offers for city modeling.

Bruno Seiler presented an introduction to the urban densification tool developed at Seiler&Seiler, which is based on CityEngine.

Marco Wellemann (Ministry of Defense) offers an overview of the current state of Dutch defense art, the simulation platform and the environment-modeling process in this talk.

Sindujan Thambo illustrates how CityEngine is implemented in Ramboll’s construction management and planning process.

In the final talk, Sandra Stendahl (City of Gothenburg​) and Matthias Buehler (vrbn) provided insight into the creation process for the historical reconstruction of 17th-century Gothenburg in celebration of the city’s 400th anniversary.
