Version 1.4.2 brought a series of updates, including an improved UI. The nice thing about it is: It is free.
The web-based application can be used to create, edit and forward web-based captions in multiple formats and frame rates. CCC requires neither installation nor sign-up. The tool works cross-platform and supports all common formats, such as SCC, SPIT, TTML and WebVTT. Direct integration with video players can also be used.
