Cinec’s most important innovations are honoured with the Cinec Awards. In this way, the Interessensgemeinschaft CineTechnik Bayern e.V. (CTB) aims to honour outstanding achievements in film technology.
This year, 35 new developments entered the competition. At the award ceremony on Sunday, held in the domed hall of the Bavarian State Chancellery in Munich, the following companies were honoured:
- Camera Support/Grip: Filmotechnic Remote Systems B.V., Russian Arm Telescopic
- Camera Support/Grip: Panther GmbH, S-Type Dolly
- Camera Technology: cmotion GmbH, Cinefade
- Camera Technology: Ernst Leitz Wetzlar GmbH, Platon 65mm Cinema Camera System
- Camera Technology: P+S Technik GmbH Feinmechanik, LensChecker mobile lens test projector
- Lighting Engineering: DMG Lumiére by Rosco, MIX – LED Light Panel
- Optics: Thales Las France Sas, Optimo Ultra 12X
- Special Award: Production Concept, Monitor Back Plates for Driving Cars
- Special Award: Infinity Photo-Optical Company, Suffocator
