Bridging the Gap is the theme of FMX – Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Immersive Media, which opens its doors in Stuttgart from April 30 to May 3, 2019 for professionals and students from the fields of film, technology, art, business and science.
Based on the theme Bridging the Gap, FMX 2019 addresses world views and workflows intended to intensify collaboration among all areas of work in animation, effects, games and immersive media.
The speakers at FMX 2019 will explore the following questions: How can we build bridges between artistic expression and technological invention? How do we create connections between human and artificial intelligence? How can independent filmmakers create distinct brands? How do we create social awareness through popular culture? Which paths lead from education into the industry? How do we improve the connection between the left and right hemispheres of the brain? These and other topics are the focus of presentations, workshops, masterclasses, exhibition areas and screenings. In precisely this spirit, FMX will once again build bridges between people and projects from all over the world in 2019.
