Bridging the Gap is the central theme of the upcoming FMX 2019! From 30 April to the third of May, the conference will revolve around the four themes of animation, effects, games and immersive media. Of course, cats, space and cats in space will not be missing: The first trailers have now been released. With “CatPlanets” (theme: animation), we find out what can happen when a cat doesn’t get its way. This year, there will be an individual work by Film Academy students on each of the topics mentioned.

Programme & Tickets
With the central theme of “Bridging the Gap”, the FMX 2019 programme will address, among other things, how artistic expression and technological progress come together, how human and artificial intelligence are used and how to transition from education to industry. In addition to several forum participants (Marketplace, Workshops, Recruiting & School Campus), the following three speakers have been confirmed so far:

If you would like to keep the dates at the end of April/beginning of May free, you can now order early-bird tickets. A conference pass for all days (30 April to 3 May) costs €360, for students €180. A day ticket is currently available for €180 (students: €90). Click here for the tickets.
