With ftrack Review, the developers of ftrack Studio, the production management & tracking framework, have added a new standalone product to their range. However, the new cloud-based tool is intended exclusively for checking and review sessions of media – so it can be understood as a lower-cost alternative to Studio. The new client review player will, however, also be added to the Studio variant this month.
ftrack Review Features
Users simply upload media via the ftrack Review user interface and then share it via links. Features include, among other things…

- Browser-based and mobile: Review via desktop or web browser. External collaborators or clients do not need to install any additional software or apps to take part.
- Feedback in context: Notes, markings and comments are given a timestamp
- Multiple media types, not just videos: ftrack Review supports a wide range of formats, both video and image, including multi-page PDF files.

- Versioning: The media library keeps projects organized: with simple arrangement in stacks, you can add versions.
- PDF export of sessions: exports a PDF summary of comments and activities from your review sesssion.
- 250 GB storage: Each workspace receives 250 GB of storage and an unlimited number of projects.
Price and Availability
The new tool is available for USD 15 per month with 250 GB of storage per user – expanded storage options can optionally be added. Until May 31, 2019, users can still take out an annual subscription at a 50% discount.
