At this year’s IBC, FilmLight is holding a free two-day seminar called Colour On Stage from September 14 to 15, 2019. Among other things, the event offers visitors the opportunity to participate in live presentations and discussions with colorists and other artists about color.
Colour On Stage seminar
The content focuses range from the role of today’s colorist and FilmLight’s BLG system to modern color management, tools and techniques. The highlights include:
- Mindhunter Season 2 by Eric Weidt about his work with David Fincher
- Real-time collaboration with the help of render-free workflows
- Color for the TV series Blackmirror by Technicolor colorist Alex Gascoigne
- Bollywood: A World of Colour in the Indian film industry
- VFX finishing with the BLG workflow
- New color-management and creative tools
- and much more.
The free event takes place in room D201 on the second floor of the Elicium Center (Entrance D) near Hall 13. Anyone who wants to attend must take care of timely preregistration here.
