PureRef, the new version

Pureref is a tool for artists to organise and view reference images. Version 2.0 has a new user interface, a new drawing tool and support for animated GIFs. There are also playback controls for scrolling through individual frames.

Working in a team with Unreal Engine 5

Games, VR/AR applications or animations are produced in a team produced in teams. A typical tool for exchanging files is them in a Dropbox or on a network drive. This works wonderfully with 3D and 2D tools such as Photoshop or Blender, but not really with the Unreal Engine. Here you have to resort to Version control.

The web content management system webEdition 6 is attracting strong interest. Shortly after its release as open-source software, manufacturer Living-e AG recorded more than 10,000 downloads. In the first 48 hours alone, more than 7,200 webEdition downloads were made through http://www.webedition.de and a specially established mirror site.

At the end of 2007, Hürth-based nobeo GmbH acquired Cologne-based FilmPartners Deutschland GmbH. nobeo GmbH’s full-service offering in studio, outside-broadcast and postproduction is thereby expanded to include ‘ENG crews’. Both companies also have many years of expertise and production capacity in ‘hidden camera / reality TV production’ and ‘postproduction’. FilmPartners Deutschland will retain its own identity as part of nobeo.

Andrea Kiewel's appearances in several programmes, in connection with the now-known details of her PR contract with the Weight Watchers organization, have destroyed the basis of trust between us."

Realtime Technology AG is expanding its basis for further growth and for the further development of the company. Axel Diekmann is to become the new Managing Director of Kaspersky Labs GmbH and will therefore manage the Russian company's business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from January 1, 2008. The 44-year-old has worked as Channel Sales Manager for Kaspersky Lab since 2004. He succeeds Andreas Lamm, who is taking over the company's European business as Managing Director Europe.
