FMX 2020 was actually supposed to be the 25th anniversary – which unfortunately had to be postponed until next year. To bridge the time until we can all meet in person again, the Animationsinstitut is publishing a new format with “Highlights of FMX 1994–2020”. The online format begins on 5 and 8 May, the dates originally planned for FMX 2020, and will take place every two weeks until the end of the year. Each episode will be dedicated to an outstanding personality from the history of FMX.
FMX Highlights 1994 to 2020
Alongside highlights from past talks, the Animationsinstitut presents an extensive interview with a person from the scene. You have the opportunity to send questions that interest you to highlights@fmx.de. The following dates and people are known for the first planned interviews:
- Tuesday, 5 May, 6:00 p.m. CET: Jan Pinkava
- Wednesday, 6 May, 6:00 p.m. CET: Volker Engel
- Thursday, 7 May, 6:00 p.m. CET: Regina Pessoa
- Friday, 8 May, 6:00 p.m. CET: Ed Hooks
