Archive notice: This article covers ZBrushCoreMini as introduced in June 2020. Current downloads and features may differ.
Pixologic introduced ZBrushCoreMini as a free entry point to digital sculpting.
Reduced sculpting set
Projects began from a sphere or block and offered eight materials plus eight brushes including ClayBuildup, Inflate and Pinch. The smaller toolset contrasted with roughly three dozen brushes in ZBrushCore.
iMage3D sharing
iMage3D stored sculpt data in an image that could be posted online and reopened in ZBrushCoreMini for 360-degree viewing. The original article could not verify the export format used for 3D printing, so that claim remained unconfirmed.
Artists should test mesh export, scale and print preparation before production use.
