Advertising remains an important part of many production studios’ work. The twelfth White Square Festival took place online in 2020 under the theme “Time to Win”, with participants from 31 countries.
The 937 submissions ranged from a campaign proposing how to persuade Elon Musk to attend a Russian business forum to work addressing police violence and torture. The jury awarded entries across Creativity, Branding, Marketing, Creative Effectiveness, Media, Digital and Change for Good.
BBDO Moscow collected the largest number of awards at that year’s festival. The complete award show was also made available on YouTube.

The projects were assessed by an international jury of advertising professionals. The festival published its jury line-up on its website.
