Pan and Zoom and Auto Reframe
Adobe Premiere Rush added Pan and Zoom, Adobe’s take on the Ken Burns effect, alongside Auto Reframe for adapting video to different aspect ratios. Both tools had previously been available in Premiere Pro and were added to the iOS, Android and desktop versions of Rush.
Auto Reframe detected whether imported material was horizontally or vertically oriented and adjusted it to the project’s aspect ratio while attempting to keep the subject in view.
At the time, a Rush timeline used one aspect ratio throughout, so editors could not mix different output ratios within the same sequence.
Availability and Further Information
