Serif’s Affinity 1.10 release improved memory handling in Publisher, layer blending in Photo and complex-document rendering in Designer.

Serif released version 1.10 of Affinity Photo, Affinity Designer and Affinity Publisher.

Publisher memory management

Affinity Publisher received a redesigned memory-management system intended to load and edit large, multi-gigabyte documents more efficiently.

Photo and Designer performance

Affinity Photo improved the efficiency of layer blending. Serif said Affinity Designer could render highly complex documents up to ten times faster, including CAD-derived artwork containing thousands of objects.
