Teya Conceptor 4.0 Streamlines 3D Concept Design and Kitbashing

Teya Conceptor 4.0 introduced a simplified interface, reorganised brushes, new geometry modifiers and smoothing-group import.

Archive translation. This release report covers Teya Conceptor 4.0 from September 2021. The quoted US$199 perpetual and US$49 annual prices, trial, features and availability reflect that period.

In brief: Animation artist and tool developer Arseniy Korablev released Teya Conceptor 4.0, an application for 3D concept design and kitbashing.

Workflow: Artists drew forms in 3D using brushes based on organic or mechanical components. They could then continue modelling with conventional tools and export the completed object in OBJ format for use in another application.

New features: Version 4.0 introduced a simplified interface, a more clearly grouped brush library, new geometry modifiers and the ability to import smoothing groups.

Korablev originally released the tool in 2016 under the name PolyBrush.

Availability at publication: Existing customers received the update without an additional fee. New customers could buy a perpetual licence for US$199 or subscribe for US$49 per year, and a trial version was available.
