In brief: Reallusion joined the Blender Development Fund as a Corporate Silver partner.
Planned pipeline features:
- Round-trip character design: Updating modified character items without transferring the complete character again.
- iClone Blender Data Link: Streaming iClone animation into Blender’s viewport in real time.
- Blender Meta-rig assignment: Automatically mapping a Rigify meta-rig when importing an iClone character.

Development Fund context: Corporate contributions supported Blender feature development, bug fixes and DCC visibility. Other participating companies included Apple, Adobe, AMD, Facebook, Microsoft and Unity.
Existing integration: Reallusion’s Blender Character Pipeline connected iClone, Character Creator and Blender. Related tools included Blender CC3Tools, Hair Tool, Auto-Rig Pro, RigiMap and the iClone 7 Omniverse Connector.

Reallusion tools: The company offered Character Creator, iClone for facial and body animation, and ActorCore for motion-capture assets. Its original announcement appeared in Reallusion Magazine. Test interchange, rig mapping and live-link behaviour before production use.
