The Continuum plugin package gets an update!

Continuum 23 from Boris FX comes with over 250 presets – and Particle Illusion has been significantly accelerated. Suitable for artists in broadcasting, motion graphics and compositing.

In nuce: The latest version of Boris FX’s comprehensive Continuum plug-in package has now been released – and is called Continuum 2023, according to a press release dated 27 October this year. Continuum is aimed at creative professionals in the fields of broadcasting, motion graphics and compositing.

In toto: Newly added functions include: an atmospheric glow effect, 10 action-packed transitions and over 250 presets. The promotional video below shows Continuum 2023 in action. The Particle Illusion user interface has also been simplified. According to the press release, creatives work fifty per cent faster with Particle Illusion than before. In the second video, also linked below, Boris FX’s Design Director, John Dickinson, explains the new functions of Particle Illusion. Continuum 2023 is available for Adobe, Avid and OFX workflows. OFX, also known as OpenFX, is an open standard for 2D visual effects and compositing standards (see source at the end of this article).
