FMX 2025, under the theme “Rhythm of Change,” will take place from May 6–9, 2025, at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Stuttgart, Germany. The event will focus on industry challenges, especially in response to rapid developments in Artificial Intelligence. FMX 2025 will provide a platform for professionals to discuss how companies and individuals can navigate this transformative phase. From May 10 to June 10, 2025, many presentations from global speakers will be available on-demand.
Program Chair
Paul Debevec, a renowned figure in visual effects and virtual production (notable works include Matrix, Avatar, and Gravity), will serve as Program Chair for FMX 2025. Debevec holds a PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley and is currently the Chief Research Officer at Eyeline Studios, Los Angeles. His innovative technologies like Light Stage 3 have significantly influenced VFX and virtual production. Recognized with multiple awards, including two Academy Awards for Technical Achievement and the Charles F. Jenkins Lifetime Achievement Emmy, Debevec is also a Governor of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ Visual Effects Branch and an Adjunct Research Professor at USC.
