Media 100 Inc. presented its new product family of realtime MPEG-2 encoding systems for the Macintosh platform called MediaPress Pro and MediaPress Pro SDI at NAB 2001 in Las Vegas. Media 100 now offers a real-time MPEG-2 encoding system for Macintosh on the market with an SDI interface. MediaPress Pro SDI has also been endorsed by Apple Computer for use with DVD Studio Pro, its latest professional DVD authoring solution. Media 100 demonstrated at the Apple booth at NAB how DVD producers can use DVD Studio Pro – significantly supported by the MediaPress Pro SDI solution – to create cost-effective, high-quality MPEG-2 programmes in real time.
