The Media Partner 4.0 software is particularly suitable for managing still and moving image files, as well as accompanying documents (Quark files, Avid EDLs, etc.). Media Partner is characterised by patented technologies in the areas of “annotations of media assets” and “natural language full text search”, which is also available in German and French from the new version 4.0.2.
MediaPartner is ready to run out-of-the-box and can therefore be implemented at the customer’s premises within a day. On the other hand, other products such as System7 from Jaguar Consulting for rights management can be integrated thanks to the existing open interfaces.
Numerous branded companies and advertising agencies use MediaPartner for workflow optimisation and for controlling release procedures on the intranet. Picture agencies and broadcasters mainly use MediaPartner for distribution. At IBC 2001, it will be demonstrated how MetroImaging, Lowe Lintas & Partners Worldwide and other customers save time and money by using MediaPartner.
