A free KONA-SD version 2.0 update added new functions to the uncompressed real-time video solution for Macintosh.
The additions included a DV bridge, real-time immediate playback of DV edits over SDI, 64-bit RGB rendering with trillions of colours in After Effects, native YUV rendering in Final Cut Pro, Mac OS X 10.2 compatibility and 24-frame inverse-telecine capture from NTSC.
The stated online prices were €3,999 for KONA-SD and €11,499 for KONA-HD.
