Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and Rockstiftung Baden-Württemberg organised a music-video workshop in Ludwigsburg from late November 2002 to late February 2003.
After a one-week seminar covering clip production, planning and the music business, students produced videos with three selected bands. Filmmakers and musicians developed ideas together from the beginning.
The programme opened on 30 November with the Popkomm 2002 Clipzone reel, Best of Rare Music Videos—National and International, followed by a concert from the selected bands. The finished clips were scheduled for screening on 28 February 2003.
