Roxio released the first free fix pack for WinOnCD 6. The update refined the program’s entry points and corrected navigation in photo albums containing more than 80 images.

The fix pack added a warning when a Video CD or DVD project contained more than 99 albums, displayed the storage occupied by an HTML structure and made every keyframe visible in the video timeline. Multiple images could also be dragged into a photo album in one operation.

WinOnCD could accept non-standard MPEG material for VCD, SVCD and DVD projects without automatically re-encoding it. Re-encoding remained available for users who needed broader player compatibility, while music assigned to a photo album could loop for the full presentation. Searching the video timeline was also accelerated.

The update additionally fixed a temporary-file cleanup problem. The package was made available through Roxio’s service-pack area at the time of publication.
