Jeffers Egan used filters from The Foundry, Pinnacle and DigiEffects with Adobe After Effects to create the flowing imagery of the €20 music-video DVD Slither.
Influenced by Kandinsky, Fischinger, Pollock and Miró, Egan layered colour, motion and image fragments over several months. The result occupied a space between animation, music video and digital art.
Jake Mandell supplied electronic sound collages produced with tools including Native Instruments Reaktor and Absynth and Magix Samplitude. The 41-minute film carried Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS audio and moved between restrained and dense audiovisual passages.
