Berlin’s Transmediale.03 festival ran from 1 to 5 February 2003 at Haus der Kulturen der Welt under the theme “Play Global!”, examining the artistic and cultural consequences of globalisation.
Avid supported the festival’s award ceremony on 4 February, where winners were selected from 900 submissions. On 5 February, media makers and Avid product specialists presented a two-hour session on the future of post-production.
Avid also participated in the Berlinale Talent Campus from 10 to 14 February alongside film professionals including Wim Wenders, Lia van Leer and Ken Adam. Visitors to the studio gallery could explore Avid Xpress DV and Avid DS HD editing systems.
