Intuitive MX was a multitrack audio workstation for Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP, built around an accessible operating concept. Its aim was to offer the facilities of a physical recording studio on a standard PC.
Integrated mixer automation allowed users to keep any number of mixes in the same project and switch between versions. Every parameter could be automated. The 3D Real Controller positioned every element of a composition with the mouse on a 3D timeline, letting users see and hear the effect of sound placement in real time. All positions in 3D space could also be automated.
Eleven real-time effects expanded the options for musicians, composers and arrangers. An equaliser and four additional effects could be assigned per audio track. The supplied effects were reverb, phase vocoder, limiter, gain booster, flanger, expander, distortion, delay, compression, chorus and a four-band equaliser.
