Version 1.5.3 makes no major changes from the previously introduced 1.5 release. It retains the version 1.5 interface while adding functions including MPEG audio support, improved image quality, enhanced shadow-line detection, customisable slates for easier archiving, and conversion of film scenes to video scenes through 3:2 pulldown. The CTP Pro range has also been extended with CTP Pro Lite. The Lite edition provides all CTP Pro functions but limits maximum resolution and the number of layers.
